Grounds maintenance

Grounds maintenance, priced and reported by area

Your proposal splits the property into areas: the front lawn, the parking islands, the slope behind building C. Each gets its own visit schedule and its own line on the monthly report.

That way a change in one area changes one line, not the whole contract.

  • A visit day set for each area

  • Litter picked up on every visit

  • A photo report each month

A crew member on a ride-on mower cuts a striped lawn in front of a row of hedges and houses.

What a visit covers

Six jobs on the visit sheet

  • Mowing and edging

Turf cut at a set height, with edges trimmed along walks, curbs and beds.

  • Blowing and litter

Walks, lots and entries cleared before the crew leaves.

  • Beds and weeding

Weeds pulled by hand or spot-treated by a licensed applicator, bed by bed.

  • Pruning

Shrubs and groundcover shaped away from walks, signs and windows.

  • Mulch

Refreshed once or twice a year, on the date written in the proposal.

  • Slopes and basins

Mowed by a machine made for slopes, and checked after each storm.

Scope

Questions about the visits

Which day will the crew come?

The proposal names a day for each area. If a tenant needs a lot clear before nine, the proposal says so and the schedule follows it.

Do you handle weeds with sprays?

Where a spray is needed, a licensed applicator does it, the product and the label directions are in the report, and the notice to tenants goes out first.

Who picks up litter?

The crew does, on every visit, before it leaves each area.
